He was previously at ABC News where he served as a freelance Anchor and Correspondent in New York City. He often co-anchored “World News Now” and “America This Morning.” Marza also filed reports for “Good Morning America,” “World News Now,” “ABC News Radio” and “ABC NewsOne.”

Marza was a Summer intern for Fox News Channel in New York from May 2004 to August 2004. He was a summer fellow with International Radio and Television Society from May 2004 and August 2004. He was selected out of 1,200 students in North America for IRTS Summer Fellowship Program.
From May 2004 to April 2006, he was an anchor, reporter and weekend managing editor at WIBW TV. He covered breaking news, general assignments and state legislature and creatively delivered demonstrative live reports. He is also anchor and managing editor for all six weekend newscasts responsible for content and execution.
At the University of Missouri-Kansas City, he served as a guest lecturer for journalism and mass media classes from January 2005 to August 2009. He lead discussions on the current state of the media and the future of journalism.
He was also a weekend anchor and reporter with KSHB, KMCI, and The EW Scripps Company in Kansas City, Missouri from January 2005 to December 2009. There, He launched weekend morning newscast, contributed to rating wins in key demos, responsible for all phases of in- studio production and live on-air presentation. He also led travelling reporter and multimedia journalist responsible for covering breaking news and enterprising.
He was a Freelance reporter and anchor for News 12 Long Island From December 2009 to July 2010. He positioned as the lead reporter on several major national and international stories including a sting to arrest suspected terrorists, the New York governor scandal, and several severe weather events including tornadoes and blizzards.
At ABC News in New York, he was a freelance correspondent and anchor at ABC News from March 2010 to July 2011. He filed live reports for Good Morning America, World News Now, World News, ABC News One and other ABC platforms. He was a main substitute anchor for ABC’s network overnight broadcast World News Now. He was also a standby overnight anchor for network special reports.
Marza hosted ABC News Now’s What’s the Buzz interviewing celebrities and national newsmakers. At WSVN-TV in Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area, he anchored number one rated weekday evening news at 4pm, 5:30pm, 6:30pm covering local, national, and
international breaking news stories. He also filed live reports for 10 and 11pm newscasts, covering hard news to entertainment from South Florida and around the world.
At KSHB, KMCI, and The EW Scripps Company, he was a multiple Emmy award winning anchor for 5, 6, 10pm weeknight broadcasts, reported breaking news live from the scene, produced and reported special projects including investigations.
He lead the station’s live coverage from the scenes of a massive downtown warehouse fire, neighborhoods devastated by a tornado outbreak and the site of a deadly mass shooting at a manufacturing plant. He also lead coverage of President Trump’s major tax plan launch in Springfield, Missouri and the coverage of MLB All-Star Game in Cincinnati and KC Royals World Series title run from Toronto and New York City.
Marza led the coverage of nationally televised football games in Foxborough, KC and Pittsburgh. After the game, he drove from Pittsburgh to Virginia to cover over Vice Presidential Debate in Farmville hours later.
He created digital series “Mike’d Up” that showcase success stories that offer inspiration to viewers chasing their dreams and mentored young producers and reporters.
